“ Aamantran Stays Shimla ”
"Please take time to read these terms and conditions governing the Aamantran Stays website and provision of accommodation in general. By making a booking on the Aamantran Stays website or staying at Aamantran Stays you agree to follow these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before you proceed with your booking. All reservations made at Aamantran Stays are made subject to these terms and conditions and the person making the reservation will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions on behalf of all persons who will be staying or using the facilities at the Aamantran Stays under the reservation (once the reservation is accepted and confirmed by us). Please read them carefully before you proceed with your booking."
No-Show: Failure to arrive at the property will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given.
Early Departures: No refunds will be given for early departures or for shortening the duration of stay.
"Aamantran Stays is Smoke-Free. No smoking in the rooms or the washrooms. Smoking is prohibited in any part of the premises including but not limited to rooms, except in any smoking area(s) designated by Aamantran Stays (if any)"
Aamantran Stays is walk-up premises. There is no elevator, or restaurant on-site, but we have a common dining room.
"Quiet hours will be from 11 p.m. until 8 am. During quiet hours radios and televisions may be played at a level not to be heard outside of that room. Loud music or noise in the guest rooms is prohibited as a mark of comfort of other guests and the surroundings.
Please switch off the geyser, Fans/Heaters, lights and television before going out.
House-keeping service – Room will be cleaned on request and linen will changed every 3rd day for same guest, otherwise as per check outs.
uests are requested to refrain from washing clothes in the washroom on their own as that leads to choking of the water lines & wastage of water, which is very scarce here. Please help us in conserving water. A fine of INR 250 will be levied.
" Guests of in-house guests: Overnight stay by person(s), apart from the one(s) on whose name the original booking was made, would incur additional charge (with or without extra bed) or as per additional room tariff."
Please note that we do not have power backup facility as power cut is very uncommon in our region.
Any damage/breakage or loss of items resulting out of guest's carelessness will have to be paid in full by the guest.
" Kindly refrain from using open flame candle in the rooms. We provide solar power rechargeable emergency lights, on request, in case of power failure."
Hair Dryer and Room Heaters are available on request at nominal charges.
For drivers/support staff separate (mixed) accommodation is available at INR 300/- per person, per night.
All disputes subject to Shimla jurisdiction only.
Rights of admission reserved.
Bookings may be made online at www.aamantranstaysshimla.com .
We do provide special room rates, subject to a minimum four nights and above stay at Aamantran Stays.
Bookings are accepted subject to room availability.
"We require 50% advance payment to secure reservation. Balance amount is to be paid at the time of check-in, through cash."
In case the booking is being made through travel agents, we require 100% advance payment.
The 'Guest' named in the Booking Confirmation must be the person staying at Aamantran Stays otherwise we reserve the right to cancel the booking without any refunds attached to it.
"Kindly read the room type, description and inclusions carefully before booking through online/offline travel agents. Facilities & services offered on direct booking may not be available if booked through travel agents, travel portals, tour operators or third party sites."
At all times during the booking process, you are advised to ensure the accuracy of your booking details (guest details, stay dates, room types, room rates, age of children, number of guest(s)). Aamantran Stays will not be responsible or liable for errors in booking details.
Please check below for our bank account details for Bank transfer. All cash deposits in the aforesaid account will incur 2% additional bank processing charge. You may choose to change the method of payment on check-out to cash.

"We would deeply regret your decision to cancel your trip to Shimla, however we realize that there are many valid reasons that this can happen. Cancellation must be notified in writing and will take effect the day it is received by Aamantran Stays. The following cancellation charges will apply:"
Any cancellation received within 10 day/s prior to arrival will have full refund.
Cancellation received within less than 10 days prior to arrival will incur the full advance amount deposited.
Failure to arrive will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given.
Early Departures: Once you have checked in, the room is no longer available to rent therefore no refunds will be given.
In day to day cases check in time is 1400 hrs & check out time is 12 noon. Further delay in check out will be charged as Half Day charge till 4 pm and full day charge post 4 pm.
Cancellation has to be made through corresponding email ID only; otherwise no cancellation will be entertained. Cancellations will not be accepted over Phone.
Amendments will be treated as cancellation.
Any refund will take at least 15 days to process.
"Aamantran Stays follows a strict check-in and check-out policy. Check -in and check-out time is determined by Aamantran Stays. Please check these times before making your reservation or before your arrival at Aamantran."
If you wish to check-in prior to 02:00 P.M, you must book from the previous night stay and pay the applicable rate for that additional night.
If our Check-In/Out timing does not suit your holiday program, kindly inform us about the same. Necessary room allotments can be arranged on prior information, subject to availability, and may be chargeable by us directly.
Aamantran Stays reserves the right to approve a request for Early Check –in not before 10:00 A.M / 1000 hrs
Check –in early than 10:00 A.M will be charged extra.
Booked rooms will be held for check-in until 8.00 am the following day of the scheduled check-in date, after which the booking will be deemed cancelled upon no-show and Aamantran Stays shall be entitled to release the booked room(s) for the remaining stay dates to other guests. No refunds will be provided for the cancelled booking.
There will be no refund for early check out.
If you check-out after the stipulated time Aamantran Stays reserves the right, without any further notice to charge an additional one (1) night's stay

Guests are requested to present proof of identity (a valid photo ID card issued by the Government) at the time of check in. Foreign nationals are to provide Passport and Visa details at the time of check -in & fill up foreigner's registration form as required by the Government.
"Extra person room rates will be charged on a Room Only basis, unless otherwise stated. In our any type of room we allow 2 Adult and 1 Child, if no of person including child or adult exceeds the base occupancy, extra adult or child will be charged room rent per person, per night, (no meals included).
The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a mattress with bed sheets, blanket and pillow. "
One child below 6 years of age can be accommodated in parent's room on existing bed without any additional charge.
Extra bedding for children above 7 yrs of age.
One further child is charged without an extra bed, on existing beds, or with an extra bed. 1 extra bed (roll-away mattress) can be accommodated on additional payment.
No sleeping bags or cots can be brought in to the rooms. Total room occupancy cannot exceed 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children/infants.
You agree that you will pay to us the room rate for each day of your stay and any additional charges up until the time you advise us that you have departed from our Stays.
All prices are quoted in Indian Currency (INR) per room per night and are inclusive of relevant local GST. (Packages exclude the GST).
Prices are subject to availability and can change without notification due to fluctuations in charges and currency.
Blackout/special event periods may apply.

"Service Tax:
7.42% on room charge 4.94% (room + breakfast & transport services)
Local Tax:
12.5% on declared room tariff (Luxury Tax)

** Luggage Storage for more than a day is only limited to guests who have a confirmed return booking. Storage period is limited to a maximum of 2 weeks. "
"Aamantran Stays room types are as follows "
Deluxe Room : 1 Double bed. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults + 1 child (below 5 years old at the date of check-in)
Super Deluxe Room : 1 Double bed. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults + 1 child (below 5 years old at the date of check-in)
Family Room : 2 rooms with double bed. Maximum occupancy is 4 adults + 2 child (below 5 years old at the date of check-in)
Terrace Room: 1 Double bed. Maximum occupancy is 2 adults + 1 child (below 5 years old at the date of the check-in)
Lunch and dinner will not be served in rooms.
Vegetarian food can be prepared at home, on prior intimation, for a charge.
Please place your food order at least 3 hours in advance as we serve fresh.
Kitchen opens at 07:00 AM (0700hrs) and closes at 10:00 PM (2200hrs), food will not be served after 10 PM.
Breakfast is served between 08:30 AM (0830 hrs) and 10:30 AM (1030hrs).
Dinner is served between 07:00 PM (1900hrs) and 09:30 PM (2130hrs).
Complimentary breakfast includes (Per Room) [2 Tea/ Coffee + (4 Alu/Gobi Prantha + 2 Piece butter, Pickle) or (2 x 4 Toast + Butter/Jam/Omelette(2 Eggs)]
Complimentary Lunch includes (Per Room) 1 Seasonal Vegetable, 1 Dal , 8 Tawa Roti, 1 Rice, 2 Papad. Curd or Raita.
Complimentary Dinner includes (Per Room) 1 Seasonal Vegetable, 1 Dal, 8 Tawa Roti, 1 Rice, 2 Papad and any Desert.
Meals (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner) of extra person or extra bed (if taken) will not be included unless stated otherwise.
Snacks, Cookies, Chocolates, Mineral Water kept in rooms are Chargeable.
"Aamantran stays reserves the right to refuse accommodation to any person(s) without any notice and terminate any booking without being liable for any refund or compensation for the following reasons:"
The person checking in is not or cannot prove that he/she is the person named in the Booking Confirmation
The person checking in is not carrying valid Photo ID card or document at the time of Check- in.
No illegal drug use will be permitted in the property. This ground for immediate expulsion by the Management.
"Any damage/breakage or loss of items resulting out of guest's carelessness will have to be paid in full by the guest (including the freight and handling charges)."
"Items left behind: Regular items left behind require you to contact us for return within India for a flat fee of INR 750 (Larger items will incur extra charges.)"

"All other matters concerning or relating to the Aamantran Stays shall be governed by the laws of India and the Shimla District Courts shall have jurisdiction therein. "
** Aamantran Stays reserves the right to cancel, amend or vary the arrangements and content featured on the website and/or change or add to these Policies at any time without prior notice.
**To the extent permitted by law any amount paid by you to Aamantran Stays for your booking is non-refundable unless stated otherwise in these Policies.
