I was recently n Shimla and stayed in the homestay with my family and the experience was best with silence all around,nature at its best,u could hear birds chirping nearby,toy train running just in the corner,rooms was very good,warm water available ,and above all u will get homely food made with love and care along with the care and concern shown by shri hari om sood and his better half,who cared us during our stay from 14th may,2015.

It was a good trip.
